Thanks to the side holes, you can tighten or loosen it easily with a screwdriver, which makes handling in the field much easier. The adapter is designed only for the SSG96 Mk1 version. For the Mk2 model, it can only be used after drilling to a 10 mm diameter, a complex modification that is not recommended by the manufacturer.
