The insert is a U-shaped plastic liner that is placed inside a pouch, allowing the magazine to be inserted into it. The insert is secured inside the pouch with Velcro to ensure it stays in place when removing the magazine. Therefore, the pouch should have an internal Velcro panel for attachment.This insert is particularly useful in magazine inserts for chest rigs as it helps maintain the pouch’s shape, making reloads smoother without the need for a dump pouch.
