The mounting components engage the corresponding mounting recesses on the upper part of the gun body, while the large locking screw allows the mount to be tightened or loosened without tools; its size also makes it easy to operate while wearing gloves. The body is made from precision-machined 6061 aluminum alloy, while the stressed mounting components are made from steel. The top RIS / Picatinny rail provides an interface for common airsoft optics, while its raised position creates more space between the sight and the gun. In practice, this is particularly useful when aiming with a protective mask, where a low-mounted optic often requires an unnatural head position. The mount measures 127 mm in length, 47 mm in height and weighs 174 g.
