The CORE(TM) line is built on a combination of durable polymer and metal/steel parts, making the gun significantly lighter than classic all-metal M249s while remaining robust and game-ready. The machine gun features a QD outer barrel, a folding steel bipod, and a top RIS rail for mounting optics or a red dot sight. At the heart of the gun is a durable M249-type gearbox (nicknamed “the brick”) with ESA(TM) quick spring change, designed for long-term load and suppressive fire. It is further equipped with a X-ASR MOSFET by GATE, protecting the electronics and improving trigger response. Thanks to compatibility with both the electric box magazine (powered by 2 AA alkaline batteries, not included) and M4 / AR15 (STANAG) magazines, the M249 PARA CORE(TM) is a versatile and user-friendly choice for Mil-Sim airsoft as well as regular skirmishes.
